The QX50 combines a sculpted exterior design, sporty driving performance and upscale interior environment. It comes equipped with a 325-horsepower, 3.7-litre V6 with a seven-speed automatic transmission, Infiniti’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system and heated front seats. For 2016 the standard wheelbase is extended by 80 millimetres, increasing rear seat room, and overall interior volume is expanded by 8.3 cubic feet. Heated front seats and a power moonroof are now standard; other standards include textured leather seats, dual-zone climate control system, rearview monitor, intelligent key with push-button start and more. The AWD system uses an active torque distribution management system with an active centre clutch designed for smooth starts and better traction and manoeuvrability on slick roads than conventional AWD systems. Several technologies designed to enhance safety and control are available, including around view monitor with front and rear sonar system, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, distance control assist, intelligent brake assist and blind spot warning.
