Land Rover Series 1. Before they became yet another yuppie status symbol, Land Rover used to actually mean something. Those original issue vehicles could get you over just about any kind of terrain. And given that all of the world's roads crumbled away in the extreme heat after the Super-Collider Incident of 2017 (thankfully you were riding the subway at the time), the Land Rover might just be your ticket. Humvee. It's hard to think of a hardier vehicle than the military-issue "Humvee", which first made a name for itself traversing across the sands of the Arabian desert. Substitute sand for radioactive dust. They're pretty much the same thing, as far as you're concerned.

Monster truck. Go somewhere in the southern United States - anywhere, in fact - and you'll probably find one of these in an abandoned arena. A monster truck would be perfect for trekking over the piles of crashed cars and dead bodies you'll often encounter as the last person on Earth.

Volkswagen Thing. Basically a VW Jeep. Admittedly, though, if you're going around in a VW Thing, you probably won't fare as well as you would have in the Jeep. But other survivors might get a chuckle before they try to siphon gas from it and kill you. Wikimedia Commons photo.
