Acura’s MDX received a mid-cycle refresh in 2016 that included the addition of new technology features as well as some performance enhancements. Acura’s three-row luxury SUV comes equipped with an advanced 9-speed automatic transmission featuring a push-button electronic gear selector that frees up room above the centre console. In addition, the Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive (SH-AWD) system with a single-motor design delivers enhanced torque transfer and handling capabilities. All MDX models come equipped with a long-range remote engine starter, and the AcuraWatch suite of sensing and driver-assist technologies. Safety features include road departure mitigation and rear cross-traffic monitor. The seven-passenger cabin has roomy seating and a second-row seat with reclining seatbacks and an Extended Slide feature that offers more than 150 mm of fore-and-aft travel. For easier access to the third row, the MDX has wide and low step-in access and the One-Touch Walk-In feature, which moves the second-row seat out of the way at the push of a button.
